Partnership and investments in PPP projects
The term ‘PPP projects’ comes from English ‘Public-Private Partnership’. Under PPP projects, the project the goal of which is to ensure public services and public infrastructure are to be understood. As regards PPP projects, the difference lies in the fact that there is a concessionaire appointed who will prepare design documents, build and fund a project, run it over a longer period of time (e.g., for 30 years), and invest in its maintenance so as to hand it over to the state in good conditions once the concession is over.
The PPP projects are a guaranteed long-term investment.
